Our Frugal Trip to Asheville Part 2

What we did:

1) Biltmore House- Chris had never seen the Biltmore House and it had been almost 10 years for me, so we decided to take a tour. We got a discount through work and ended up paying $25 per ticket (savings of like $13 per person) and then $8 per person for the audio tour. I highly recommend the audio tour. We also visited the winery and farm.

2) Highland Brewery Tour- If you don't like beer then I do not recommend this tour. However if you enjoy a good craft beer and would enjoy hearing how they make their beer, then this is the tour for you. The tour was totally free and it included samples. There were only about 10 people on the tour, which made for a much more intimate feel. The people there were very nice and enjoyed having people come in and try their beer.

3) Around Town- We also shopped around town and went shopping. I really didn't buy too much. I would like to go back and do more shopping. I think next trip we will do some hiking as well.
